Families today don’t look the way they did just a few decades ago. The father was supposed to be the head of the family. They had a script they should adhere to, and that script has changed.

Grownups are increasingly not involved with their children today. The biggest change has been on the economic level. The job market has changed dramatically in the last 10-15 years. Work requires less muscle and more intellect.

Now, we have to use soft skills to get the job done. Fathers are doing different types of work which also means more women are in the workforce and more men are staying home. Fathers are caregivers too.
