Together, WE Change Lives!

In 1989, Rev. Herbert H. Lusk, II, deeply grounded in Christian beliefs and principles, founded People for People, Inc. (PFP) with the vision of people helping others. From the very start, PFP and its partners have embraced the journey and have shared in the joys and responsibilities of helping countless Philadelphians and others around the world to change their lives. For over 20 years now, PFP has fought for and with “the least of these” – low-income families, public housing residents, single parents, and those living in vulnerable circumstances – encouraging them to leave behind their dependency upon public assistance, substance abuse, and negativity by completing education, job training, computer skills training, program certification and counseling.

What will People for People, Inc. do next!? The future of PFP depends on YOU! Your time, talent and treasure can make all the difference in the lives of the people we serve. A few simple ways you, your friends, colleagues or family can help are listed below.

Tax Deductible Contribution

Your financial contribution to PFP is a worthy investment in helping people to change their lives. Any amount can make a difference. Please contribute online, send your contribution via postal mail, or stop by and see us in person. We enjoy sharing some good old PFP hospitality with visitors.

Pastor Lusk founded PFP on the principles of business and entrepreneurship. Want to explore an entrepreneurial venture together? We speak social entrepreneurism!

Your generous donation of personal time, even an hour a week having a nutritious lunch with students in the PFP Charter School during the Etiquette Program, can make a major difference in the programs we provide to children and young people.

Pastor Lusk is a strong believer in the power of relationships. If you know someone who can be helpful to support the work that PFP is doing to help others, please let us know. We will be glad to reach out to them and develop a partnership.
