Retail & Commercial Space Opportunities Available
The JBJ Soul Homes – formerly called Fairmount Gardens – a $20 million partnership with Project H.O.M.E., will change the area’s landscape by constructing a new multi-use development at the intersection of Broad Street, Fairmount and Ridge Avenues. The new complex will provide 55 modern apartments to qualified homeless adults, some with special needs.
The Project H.O.M.E. / People for People, Inc. partnership provided land from Greater Exodus Baptist Church and helped overcome community resistance. The church and People for People, Inc. opted to forego any profits in lieu of 12,477 sq. ft. of retail space and 5,790 sq. ft. of office space on the ground level for which PFP will recommend the appropriate use. Any leasing profits that result will help sustain People for People, Inc. programming.
