People for People Preschool is a Star 4 Keystone Star Facility. We are an early childhood development center where a love for learning grows.

Mission Statement

People for People Preschool is committed to helping children unlock their fullest potential by planting the seed of a love for learning. These seeds are watered daily by our team of qualified childcare professionals, our customized curriculum aligned with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards, educational field trips, and extracurricular activities that inspire cognitive, social, and emotional growth in the hearts and minds of the children we serve.

Program Overview

A love for learning has been growing in the hearts of infants, toddlers, and preschool students enrolled at PFP Preschool since 2005. Enrollment at our center is open to infants from 6 weeks to 5-year-old children in Pre-Kindergarten. We also offer Summer Camp, as well asbefore and aftercare to children ages 6 years old – 13 years of age. Our daily dedicated childcare professionals work diligently to nurture children by delivering enrichedlessons supporting their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. We provide our students with a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. We also provide infant formulas and free diapers and wipes.

For the 2023-2024 school year, People for People Preschool was awarded the PHILADELPHIA EARLY LEARNING INSTRUCTIONAL EXCELLENCE INITIATIVE (PELEI) CURRICULUM FUND by PHMC. Our Preschool was 1 of 34 sites selected out of 110 applicants. This funding allowed the center to purchase the Creative Curriculum, a research-based curriculum with a holistic child approach.

Our Team of Childcare Professionals

Our staff consists of qualified childcare professionals,hired based on their expert level of education, professionalism, and experience in the field of early childhood education. People for People Inc. has established a reputation for employee retention; about 30% of our staff have been employed at our center for over five years. People for People Preschool offers our employees competitive wages, paid time off, and health and dental benefits.  All lead and assistant teaching staff must participate in at least 24 hours of professional development and training. Staff members are also First Aid and CPR certified, and trained in fire safety and emergency preparedness. All staff must submit child abuse clearances, State criminal background checks, and FBI and National Sex Offender Registry clearances to ensure they are approved to work with our children.

Our Director

Director Adam Moskowitz promotes ongoing formal and informal education for the staff, as he believes learning is a life-long process. Mr. Moskowitz is highly qualified and has over seven years of early childhood experience. He has a Master’s in Education, a PA Director Credential, and a Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System Certificate, and is a First Aid and CPR Instructor.

People for People  Preschool also has partnerships with local colleges and universities. These relationships provide an avenue for our seasoned staff to mentor and supervise students who are preparing to be educators.

Weekly Tuition and Rates

People for People Preschool accepts Child Care Works (CCW) Funding or private pay rates are listed below.

• Infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months – $300.00
• Young toddlers ages 13 months – 24 months – $280.00
• Older toddlers ages 25 months – 36 months $260.00
• Preschoolers ages 37 months and older – $245.00
• Before and After School Care for School Age Children 6 and up – $200.00

We are a full-time-only facility.
