Together, WE Change Lives!

The mission continues – 30 years strong!

The mission at PFP continues because of your partnership. Our 30th Anniversary Gala was a great success and I wanted to thank you for your support as we begin a fourth decade of changing lives. The annual gala is always a grand event and this year we raised over $92,000. I hope the good will of those in attendance will continue to generate gifts during the holiday season as we close out our 30th year of breaking the cycle of poverty.  Watch VIDEO or Review PICTURES

I was blessed by the NFL Alumni Association to be honored with the “Lifetime Achievement Award.” My time playing this great game has served me well as I make connections on behalf of un   derserved people along North Broad Street and around the world. Serving as chaplain for the NFL Eagles has helped me stay involved in this game I love. My work in Philadelphia has enjoyed great support by players, coaches, and other alumni who share my vision.

Something I learned through sports, no one ever does it alone. And everyone bringss something different to the effort. I have some really great staff and volunteers who worked to plan and prepare for our gala but without you it would just be a big empty room. Without your support our halls would fall silent, families would stay trapped in despair and aborted babies would never be heard from. Together, WE are changing lives.

But there’s more to be done. I am so grateful for your encouragement and more convinced than ever before that what we have accomplished together is the foundation for so much more to come. As my vision is spreading into Chester, I’m going to need more help in this high need, low income city.

In an effort to sustain the vision, would you consider setting up an automatic, monthly tax deductible contribution at our “Giving Tuesday” weblink? If you’d like to know more about directing PA tax dollars to our student scholarship fund, the tax benefits of a Charitable Gift Annuity or gifting an IRA rollover please contact my VP for Development, Jim Carroll.  After 30 years of service, thank you for considering how legacy giving can help sustain the vision for many generations to come.

Sincerely,

Herb H. Lusk, II
